Cairo (pronounced “care-oh”) is a favorite with locals for berry-picking, mushrooming, hiking, horseback riding and all kinds of hunting. Great trails for cross-county running!

Spring wildflowers along trails;berry picking, mushrooming

Trails: hike and ride horses on mowed work roads (flat to moderate hills); horses allowed May 21-Sept 15 only

Hunting: major – deer, turkey, squirrel, rabbit; minor – pheasant

Fishing: two small, walk-in ponds
