What: The auto tour route is being opened up on Friday evenings to allow visitors access by car for viewing the spectacular wildlife and habitat on the area. Shorebirds are abundant this time of year, many warblers are still around, geese are starting to stage and the first blue-wing teal will be dropping in. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to check you in. Driving is limited to the main road, but once inside, you are welcome to walk off the beaten track.
